With Dr. Stephenie Slahor
Join us on Tuesday, December 11th for Polynesia. You'll journey south of the equator to Polynesia with Dr. Stephenie Slahor and learn more about the geology, history, culture, and stories of the region. The lecture will be from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Cornelia White Community Room at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library (WMML) located at 100 S. Palm Canyon Dr. in downtown Palm Springs. Dr. Stephenie Slahor, a Palm Springs resident, is a university professor whose hobbies include kayaking and rock hounding. She is a member of the Shadow Mountain Gem and Mineral Society of Palm Springs.
Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
