The Story of the Scots-Irish
Join us on Saturday, February 2nd for The Story of the Scots-Irish with guest speaker Linda Serna followed by round-table sharing. This free presentation by the Palm Springs Genealogical Society will be from 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in The Learning Center (TLC).
Linda Serna has been involved with genealogy in researching and writing family stories for over 35 years. In addition, she worked as a genealogist for the first season of the PBS Genealogy Roadshow program. Currently, she is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (past Treasurer for the Southern California group), Genealogical Speakers Guild, the Polish Genealogical Society, and the Genealogical Society of Hispanic America and past Vice President of Programs for the Orange County California Genealogical Society. Over the last 9 years, she has written and given several presentations on various topics for different groups in California and New Mexico.
Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
