Wellness Lecture:

Movement and the Science of Why It Makes Us Healthier

 Jason Tate Farmers' Market

Presented by Jason Tate

Join us on Wednesday, January 23rd for the Wellness Lecture: Movement and the Science of Why It Makes Us Healthier. Presented by Jason Tate, Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, he will share the health benefits of exercise and provide some easy-to-follow guidelines and exercise regimens that are both fun and rewarding. The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. in The Learning Center (TLC). This program is presented in partnership with Certified Farmers’ Market, a Palm Springs Cultural Center event.

It’s scientifically proven that exercise increases BDNF (Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factors). The means that exercise helps us grow more brain cells. Not only that, exercise, when properly applied, reverses nearly all forms of chronic disease and improves total body health. This is especially true when healthy eating habits are used in conjunction with regular exercise. Jason Tate will deconstruct the physiology of why and how this works in the body. We all know we should exercise, but most do not know why, and it is when we know why that we have the consistent motivation to do so.
