Family Fun Night Presents Wacko the Magician!
Mixing sleight-of-hand magic with a touch of comedy, The Wacko Show will leave you laughing and wondering: "How did he do that?" Celebrating El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros (Children's Day/Book Day), each child will receive a FREE book. The program will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Youth Room.
El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros, commonly known as Día, is an annual celebration every year of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Día is an enhancement of Children’s Day, which began in 1925. In 1996, nationally acclaimed children’s book author Pat Mora proposed linking the celebration of childhood and children with literacy to found Día.
Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
