The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Filing a FAFSA can help you get help paying for college from the U.S. Department of Education.

NOTICE: There is no charge to file a FAFSA at https://fafsa.ed.gov; be aware that there are other websites that have similar URLs which are not connected to the U.S. Department of Education, but do charge fees to file the FAFSA for you; please check the URL carefully.
