Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)
The principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. The BLS is an independent national statistical agency that collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates essential statistical data to the American public, the U.S. Congress, other Federal agencies, State and local governments, business, and labor. The BLS also serves as a statistical resource to the Department of Labor. 

Child and Family Statistics
The Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics (Forum) is a collection of 22 Federal government agencies involved in research and activities related to children and families.

CIA World Factbook
One of the best geographic resources on the Internet. It is a collection of maps, flags, and comprehensive geographic information for every country and territory in the world (over 270 entries). Since 1993, the CIA itself has operated a web site and has annually included the full text, maps, and flags for each world entity (including oceans and the planet itself).

Federal Statistics
Provides access to the full range of official statistical information produced by the Federal Government without having to know in advance which Federal agency produces which particular statistic. 

Google Maps
Google Maps is a desktop and mobile web mapping service application and technology provided by Google, offering satellite imagery, street maps, and Street View perspectives, as well as functions such as a route planner for traveling by foot, car, bicycle (beta test), or with public transportation.

International Data Base (IDB)
Census information provided about countries around the world by the US Census Bureau.

National, State, City, Town and County Quick Facts from the US Census Bureau
Information on all counties, cities towns and states in the United States (including general facts about the United States). 

Statistical Abstract of the United States
The authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political and economic organization of the United States (latest year: 2012). 

US Census Bureau
The Census Bureau serves as the leading source of quality data about the nation's people and economy.

USGS Maps, Imagery and Publications
USGS (United States Geological Survey) maps range from detailed local areas to the world. Because they can show many kinds of information, they are excellent for a wide range of uses, including emergency response, outdoor recreation, scientific research, and resource management.
