SYMPOSIUM | DAY 1 | APRIL 14TH 

PALM SPRINGS CONVENTION CENTER, 277 N. AVENIDA CABALLEROS

1pm  Registration opens and visit with exhibits/organization tables

2pm  Symposium

-Welcome from Mayor Robert Moon
-Keynote Speaker; Luis Hoyos, Professor at Cal Poly Pomona 
-Moderator Sidney Williams and a panel of three architects who are currently practicing in   Palm Springs, will discuss the influence that the Bauhaus movement had on those architects   who were practicing in Palm Springs in the thirties and forties.  The panel, comprised of   architects Sean Lockyer, Duane Smith and Dan Spencer will also discuss the Bauhaus             influence on their own contemporary practice.

6pm  After Event Gathering - Spencer's Restaurant (w/complimentary appetizers, no host bar)

Share your experiences from the day and celebrate with other attendees at the after event gathering, which will be held at the Bougainvillea Room at Spencer’s - a restaurant beautifully situated in Palm Springs at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains that has been holding celebrations and large gatherings for over 50 years. The Bougainvillea room is a part of the Tennis Club founded by Pearl McManus in 1937.
