Attendees participate in discussions about Patrol Procedures, Traffic Investigation, K-9, SWAT, Community Policing, Narcotics, Crime Scene Investigation, and many other interesting topics. Academy class attendees may have the opportunity to participate in a Patrol Ride-Along, Communications Center Familiarization, and/or Firearms Simulator Training/Scenarios.
To qualify for the Academy, you must be at least 18 years old and have no felony convictions. There is no cost for this exciting and valuable learning experience.
