PSNIC Good Neighborhood Awards
Palm Springs 2009 GOOD NEIGHBOR AWARDS
Hosted by the Palm Springs Neighborhood Involvement Committee
We are pleased to announce the first annual
Palm Springs Good Neighbor Awards
honoring the achievements of Palm Springs Neighborhood Organizations and members of the Palm Springs community who have helped to improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods and City.
The Awards Dinner will also help the Palm Springs Neighborhood Involvement Committee (PSNIC) raise funds to inspire and empower future neighborhood projects and programs and encourage cooperative partnerships between neighborhoods, business, and government.
Since it was established in 2005, PSNIC has grown to 23 neighborhoods located throughout Palm Springs and, true to its founding principles, strives to improve communication between citizens and City government and facilitate programs and projects that contribute to the overall welfare of neighborhoods and the City.
When: Saturday, November 14th
Where: Leon’s – At the Canyons North
Time: 6 – 7 p.m. Social and no-host bar 7-9 pm dinner and program
Cost: $35 per ticket for dinner

Tickets are $35 each or consider purchasing a table of 6 or 8 to guarantee your group will be seated together.

2009 PSNIC Good Neighbor Awards Program Advertisement
Our Good Neighbor Awards Gala program will contain profiles of the nominations for the Neighborhood and Community Service Awards. Advertising space ranges from $60 to $120. Proceeds from the program will benefit PSNIC projects and programs.

AWARD NOMINATION FORMS
The Palm Springs Good Neighbor Awards recognizes and celebrates collective and individual contributions to Palm Springs that enhance quality of life in our community.
Each officially recognized neighborhood is encouraged to make one nomination
in each
of the following awards categories:
NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATION AWARDS –
Four awards will be presented in this category honoring neighborhood projects that recognize and celebrate the commitment, creativity and resourcefulness of neighbors coming together to improve their neighborhood and the lives of the people who live within them.
COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARDS –
Two Community Service Awards will recognize and honor individuals, civic organizations or a business whose efforts over the past year (July 1, 2008 – June 30, 2009) have made an outstanding contribution to the quality of life in Palm Springs.
