Teen Movie Time: Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park

Kick back and view the latest and most awesome films in the Teen Zone. The movie, Jurassic Park (PG-13), starts at 3:30 p.m. Open to tweens/teens in 6th through 12th grade.

By extracting dinosaur DNA and splicing it with frog DNA, mogul John Hammond has created an island theme park full of living dinosaurs—including a Tyrannosaurus-Rex and Velociraptors who all have sharp teeth and claws and can run really fast. After a handler is killed by a Velociraptor (surely that mishap won't happen again), Mr. Hammond invites a paleontologist, a paleobotanist and a mathematician to verify that the island is safe. With Mr. Hammond's two grandchildren and his lawyer, the group sets out to evaluate Jurassic Park and all its inhabitants. Every precaution has been taken, so what could go possibly go wrong? Oh. Is that a storm off in the distance? Hopefully the Velociraptors won't learn to open doors. Roar.

Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Palm Springs, should contact Marcus Fuller, ADA Coordinator, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
