Lecture: Disaster Preparedness & Basic First Aid

American Red Cross

 

American Red Cross volunteer Kori Ahola will share important information to help you be better prepared for natural disasters and emergencies. The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. in The Learning Center.

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States. Every 8 minutes the American Red Cross responds to an emergency. For more information go to www.redcross.org.

 

 

 


Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Palm Springs, should contact Marcus Fuller, ADA Coordinator, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
