- Date: 09/04/2019 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
- Location: Palm Springs Convention Center, Primrose A
277 N. Avenida Caballeros
Palm Springs, California
Back by popular demand, the City of Palm Springs invites everyone with an interest in the affairs of our City to a Community Forum on Wednesday, Sept. 4, hosted by Mayor pro tem Geoff Kors and Councilmember J.R. Roberts. The 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. forum will be held at the Palm Springs Convention Center, Primrose A, 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.
The event will be conducted more as a “community conversation” so that issues of importance can be discussed in a less formal atmosphere than a typical Council meeting. In addition, the City Manager and Department Heads will be present to answer questions and listen to public comments. Residents are encouraged to address any issues of interest such as economic development, the Downtown Project and new park, streets and public works, vacation rental compliance, issues related to cannabis, the new voting districts in Palm Springs -- or any other topic that affects the Palm Springs community.
The results of the forum will be presented to the City Council to use as part of their ongoing goal setting and strategic planning. Everyone is invited to attend and share their input. Residents will be able to watch the forum the following day online at www.palmspringsca.gov or on Palm Springs Community Television Channel 17
