Poetry Club @ The WMML

 Poetry Club at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library

Led by Donna Fitzgerald, meet monthly to discuss and work on your poetry. This month’s theme is War.

Please Note the November meeting is on the second Wednesday of the month.

A monthly opportunity to share and write poetry in a supportive, inclusive space. Bring a poem you wrote or a poem you love to share with the group, and paper and a pen for guided writing. Poets of all levels of experience welcome! We will meet the last Wednesday of the month at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library.  

 

Poet Donna Fitzgerald is a retired English and creative writing instructor. She is the author of Reruns, a collection of poetry and prose, F&G, a collection of vignettes, and three collections of poetry: A Perfect World, I Have Pictured Myself for Years, and The Love Song. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, most recently The Piker Press, Academy of the Heart and Mind, and The Ocotillo Review. She currently hosts a monthly authors series at The Palm Springs Cultural Center as well as belonging to Poet's Oasis in Palm Desert and the Palm Springs Branch of The National League of American Pen Women.  

 


Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Palm Springs, should contact the ADA Coordinator, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
