Palm Springs Genealogical Society presents a Suddenly Scotland: An Introduction to Scottish Research" with Sara Cochran.

This free program will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Mizell Center in their dining room.

Sara is a full-time professional genealogist with over thirty years of research experience. Her research has taken her into nearly every State in the USA and into Ireland. She especially enjoys breaking down brick walls for her clients, discovering the stories of black sheep ancestors, and helping individuals preserve their photographic legacy. Sara holds a Boston University Genealogical Research Certificate, a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science, and is an alumnus of the ProGen Study Group. She is a member of multiple lineage societies, the Association of Professional Genealogists, and the Genealogical Speakers Guild. Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.
