Oscar Movie Screenings at the WMML

 

Join us for Oscar screenings on February 27 and February 28 at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library. More Oscar screenings will be announced for the first two weeks of March. Light snacks and drinks provided. Movies start 15 minutes after doors open.

 

Please arrive early. Seating is limited and first come, first served.

 

Be sure to attend Let's Talk Oscars with Movie Librarian Scott Biegen on March 11 at 6 pm at the Mizell Center. Don't forget to watch The Oscars on March 15, 2026 at 4 pm (PST) on ABC!

March 11 at 6:00 pm at the Mizell Center: Let's Talk Oscars with Movie Librarian Scott Biegen

Get ready for the Academy Awards (on March 15 at 4 pm PST on ABC) by joining Movie Librarian Scott Biegen as he leads us through all things Oscar!

From the snubs and surprises to the favorites and all the drama in-between, we'll talk about this year's race, and we’ll make predictions for this year’s winners. The program will be from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at the Mizell Center.


Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.

 

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Palm Springs, should contact the ADA Coordinator, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
