Palm Springs Genealogical Society presents "The Mayflower Society" presented by Barbara Matulich.

This free program will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Mizell Center in their Community Room.

While only 53 passengers on the Mayflower's historic voyage survived the first winter in Plymouth, Massachusetts, there are millions of their descendants in the United States and beyond today. Could you be one of them? This presentation will introduce the joint America 250 project "Patriots to Passenger” sponsored by the Mayflower Society as a lineage society bridge to the Daughters and Sons of the American Revolution (DAR and SAR).

Barbara Matulich is the Membership Officer for the Inland Empire Colony of the California Mayflower Society. Barbara is also the Registrar for the Aurantia Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and Senior Vice President for the newly formed Riverside Tent of Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War (DUVCW).

Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs) are instruments designed to amplify sounds to make it easier for persons who are hearing‑impaired to enjoy a library program.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Palm Springs, should contact the ADA Coordinator, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
