Adult Summer Reading presents: Summer Lovin’ Grazing Platter with Chef Tanya
Learn fun ideas on what and how to eat when it’s hot outside! Chef Tanya will demonstrate making a Moroccan Carrot Dip and discuss tips for cooking vegetarian. This event will be in the dining room at Mizell Center. Registration in advance for this event is required.
For over 30 years, animal-loving Chef Tanya Petrovna has been bringing gourmet vegan food to the Coachella Valley desert and beyond. Opening the first national plant-based restaurant chain Native Foods was just the start. In 2017 Chef Tanya’s Kitchen was born. Starting as a manufacturing facility for tempeh and seitan, it expanded into a take-out deli and curated marketplace where the Cubano and Chupacabra made sandwich history and the CTK Tempeh Power Burger was born!
