ADVISORY: Festival of Lights Parade Traffic Accident

Just after 6 p.m. a Palm Springs Police traffic officer was involved in an accident on the parade route at Palm Canyon Dr. and Amado Rd. Ten people, including the officer, suffered non-life threatening injuries. The people injured are being treated at local hospitals. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident and is requesting people who captured video and images of the accident email them to PSCityGovernmentMedia@palmspringsca.gov. 
We appreciate the community’s support. Our thoughts and prayers are with the officer, the people injured and their families.
