Palm Springs City Council Outlook: Sept. 10

The Palm Springs City Council will discuss and consider several key items of community interest during its upcoming meeting on Wednesday including: two historic Mills Act preservation agreements (a unit in the Country Club Estates Historic District and a unit in the Ocotillo Lodge Historic District), relocation of public art installations (Impossible Chair to Downtown Park and Intersecting Cubes to Sunrise Park), changes to the Palm Springs Municipal Code adding an Urgency Ordinance that would clarify how and when Councilmembers can review decisions made by City boards and commissions, and work related to the Palm Springs Convention Center Modernization Project.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way.

Residents may attend in-person, view the meeting live online on the City’s YouTube Channel or at palmspringsca.gov -- or watch on Palm Springs Community Television Channel 17.
