The Palm Springs Public Library is excited to announce twice monthly Pop-Up Library Services at two locations within the City beginning in November, Library-on-the-Go!

On the first Thursday of each month, library staff will be at the James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center from 4:00 pm-6:00 p.m., in the meeting room just off the lobby.

On the fourth Wednesday of each month, staff will be at the Mizell Center from 10:00 am-12:00 p.m. outside the auditorium.

At these pop-up library visits, staff can accept returned library materials, issue new library cards, offer a small selection of books and other items for checkout, and assist with Libby, our online platform filled with thousands of eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines.

The Library is looking forward to these opportunities to connect with the community and make accessing the Library easy. “During our renovation it’s important for us to provide opportunities like this for the community to access library services”, said Jeannie Kays, Director of Library Services, “we encourage our community to visit us at these locations and let us know how we can make their access to the Library easier”.

During the Library’s two-to-three-year renovation and restoration, services are temporarily located at Rimrock Plaza, 4721 E. Palm Canyon Drive.
