The Friends of the Palm Springs Library (Friends) will be hosting a Book Sale on Saturday, January 31 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. outside on the sidewalk at  Our Savior Lutheran Church located at 1020 Ramon Road, in the rear parking lot, with easy access using the gravel driveway off of Avendia Caballeros in Palm Springs.

They will offer a selection of books and media for sale including DVDs, CDs, bestsellers, classics and more!            

“This is our first sale since the library closed for renovation”, said Nanci Morrison, President of the Friends of the Palm Springs Library, “our community loves our book sales and so we want to make every effort to make them available, and it helps us raise funds to support the library, so it’s a win-win for everyone!”

The Friends of the Palm Springs Library raise funds for the library through daily and annual book sales, special events, planned giving, annual dues and grants. Their mission is to support the Library in providing world-class service to the community through purchasing needed supplies, furniture, and equipment for the library, and by advocating for funding, gifts, and memorials. The Friends are the sole-sponsor of the Palm Springs Speaks series (https://palmspringsspeaks.org/) in an effort to raise not only funds but also awareness about the library and programs that encourage reading, culture, and the arts as well as volunteer-based activities to support our greater community.
