The Palm Springs City Council will discuss and consider several key items of community interest during Wednesday’s City Council meeting including: a public hearing on the historic designation of the Hal Forrest Residence, a public hearing on the 2026–2027 Community Development Block Grant funding budget, funding for the development and construction of a senior affordable housing project, and updates on the proposed Dream Hotel and Orchid Tree Hotel developments.

UPDATE: The March 11 City Council Study Session regarding Fire Station 1 has been postponed. A new date will be announced in the future.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way.
