Friends of the Palm Springs Library Present Two Book Sales

Post Date:03/25/2026 10:42 AM

The Friends of the Palm Springs Library will be presenting two opportunities for the public to buy gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and more! The first will be on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. when the Friends will be participating in the Palm Springs Book Festival’s (psbookfest.org) Community FREE day. The Friends will have a table in front of the Festival Theaters and will be selling a selection of books and other items, in addition to having information about their upcoming Palm Springs Speaks events and about their organization.

Then on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 10 am. – 1 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, corner of Ramon and Caballeros in Palm Springs, they will be hosting a ‘Sidewalk Sale’ at the rear of the church. Lots of fiction and non-fiction books and media, plus, a great collection of art and cookbooks will also be available; all at great prices!

“These are both wonderful opportunities to pick up a good book (and more) at a great discount”, said Nanci Morrison, President of the Friends of the Palm Springs Library, “our selection of books and media is tremendous, so don’t miss out!”

The Friends of the Palm Springs Library raise funds for the library through daily and annual book sales, special events, planned giving, annual dues and grants. Their mission is to support the Library in providing world-class service to the community through purchasing needed supplies, furniture, and equipment for the library, and by advocating for funding, gifts, and memorials. The Friends are the sole-sponsor of the Palm Springs Speaks series in an effort to raise not only funds but also awareness about the library and programs that encourage reading, culture, and the arts as well as volunteer-based activities to support our greater community.
