The City of Palm Springs Sustainability Department, in partnership with Repeat Reuse, invites residents to attend a free Fix-It Fair on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mizell Center, 480 Sunrise Way. By repairing and reusing everyday items instead of discarding them, residents can help reduce landfill waste, conserve valuable resources, and extend the life of products that might otherwise be thrown away.
Community members are encouraged to bring one item per person for repair. Skilled volunteer fixers will be available to help repair a variety of household items, including:
- Bicycles
- Small appliances
- Clothing and textiles
- Toys
- Lamps
- Tools
Space is limited. Advance registration is required, with one registration permitted per person for one item. To sign up visit: Fix-it Fair Palm Springs.
Plus Ben & Jerry's Palm Springs will be on site providing FREE ice cream to participants!
This event is generously sponsored by: the City of Palm Springs, Ace Hardware of Palm Springs, Alcorn Adaptive Bike and Mobility Shop, Palm Springs Disposal Services and Ben & Jerry's Palm Springs.
