Traffic holds are planned from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the project area from E. Camino Parocela to Mesquite Avenue.

• Flaggers will be on-site to stop and hold traffic to provide safe access for trucks delivering 90-foot-long beams to the project area. 

• Flaggers will also stop and hold traffic when the crane swings the beams off the truck into the project area. 

• Motorists can expect up to 15-minute traffic holds.

• Please use alternate routes, like Belardo Road, to avoid delays
(see map above).

• Please reduce speed in the project area and expect delays during traffic holds.

• Businesses access remains open during construction.

The large beams will be used to construct the eastern bridge span falsework in preparation for 
the bridge deck pour later this summer. Construction on the eastern bridge reaches the halfway 
point with this beam delivery and the project is on track to be completed in late 2026.
