The Palm Springs City Council will consider several key items of community interest during Wednesday’s City Council meeting including: a public hearing on the report and proposed levy of assessments for Fiscal Year 2026–27 for the Palm Springs Small Hotel Business Improvement District, a contract related to food and beverage services for the Palm Springs Convention Center, a resolution regarding the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 General and Airport Funds Continuation Budget, a discussion on extreme weather facilities for unhoused residents, a proposed update to the vacation rental ordinance, and a report from the Ad Hoc Subcommittee regarding the City mayoral position.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way.
