The Palm Springs City Council will discuss and consider several key items of community interest during Wednesday’s City Council meeting including: a presentation by the Coachella Valley Association of Governments and City Engineering on traffic signal synchronization, potential purchase of an armored vehicle for the Palm Springs Police Department, construction contracts for the South Palm Canyon Drive and Racquet Club Road reconfiguration projects, a contract for architectural and engineering services for the Palm Springs Convention Center, an ordinance amending the Palm Springs Municipal Code related to cannabis lounges, a resolution related to palm tree trimming policy, and an update and report from the Ad Hoc Subcommittee on the future of the mayoral position.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way.
