NEWS RELEASE:  Riverside County provides emergency housing for eligible unsheltered homeless individuals during the state order to "stay at home".   Eligible unsheltered homeless individuals include:

  • Age 65 & Older
  • Pregnant
  • Families with minor children
  • Are being referred by an HIV provider

HomeConnect Services:

  • Temporary Motel & Hotel Housing to eligible unsheltered Individuals
  • Specialized Outreach Services to Homeless Individuals
  • Behavioral Health Counselors
  • Referrals to Mental Health and Substance Abuse Outpatient Services
  • Access to other available Community Resources
  • Coordination with other local Homeless Housing Providers
  • CV Housing First Program (Path of Life)  – This program provides a combination of prevention, intervention, and stabilization opportunities for those in homeless situations or at risk of becoming homeless.  If you have a concern about your housing situation or are homeless contact the Coachella Valley Hotline below for direct outreach services:

Transportation

  • Free Fare & Rear Door Boarding.  Sunline Transit Agency has announced Free Fare & Rear Door Boarding.  Local fixed route and paratransit bus service will be provided free of charge. This will continue until further notice.  SunLine Transit Agency is taking precautions to provide the recommended social distancing and to help the community in these uncertain times.  For more information visit SunLine Website.
