Library Board of Trustees
The Palm Springs Public Library Board of Trustees consists of five (5) members appointed by the City Council. Unless otherwise noted, the board meets at 5:30 p.m. on the 1st Wednesday of every month except for January and October when it meets on January 8, 2025 and October 16, 2025 (view upcoming meetings here). There is no meeting in August. The Board reviews and amends library policy, reviews progress reports, discusses immediate and long-range library planning, prepares an annual budget, administers the Library Trust Fund, and prepares an annual report for the City Council and State Library. The Library Services Department provides staff support at (760) 322-7323.
