How can I view the upcoming City Council Agenda Packet?

You may download the upcoming agenda materials by clicking the "City Council Agenda" button. You may also subscribe for email notification by scrolling down and clicking the "E-Notify" button. Agendas are normally available online by the Friday morning before the next regular meeting. You may also access the archive of City Council agendas dating back to 2008 by clicking the "Past Council Agendas" button.

Can I watch the City Council Meeting from home?

The City Council and Planning Commission meetings can be viewed live on the City's cable television station, Channel 17, or streamed online by clicking the "Watch Palm Springs TV Live" button. You may access City Council meeting videos through January 2006. Videos hosted on Granicus.

When and where are the City Council Meetings?

The City Council meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall, Council Chamber, located at 3200 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, California. Changes to this schedule and additional meetings are publicly noticed.

How can I be notified about upcoming City Council meetings?

E-Notify

You may subscribe and receive email notifications by clicking the "e-notify" button. You will be able to subscribe to upcoming City Council agendas and Board/Commission agendas as well as news releases. You may modify your selections at any time by logging into the e-notification system.

I want to speak at a City Council meeting, what do I need to do?

When you arrive in the Council Chamber, please complete a " Council Meeting Speaker Request Card," that is located in the front of the room, and submit it to the City Clerk. When the Mayor calls your name, please step to the podium, and state your name and city of residence and whether you represent a business or group. Speakers are allocated two minutes in which to express their views.

Lobbyist Registration Program

The City of Palm Springs has enacted a Lobbyist Registration Program. Prior to conducting any activities for the purpose of influencing actions by the City of Palm Springs, any lobbyist shall register with the City Clerk by filing a written statement and/or making a verbal disclosure before speaking at any City public meetings.
