Rebuilding After the Recent Act of Terrorism in Palm Springs
The City of Palm Springs and Building Safety Department are committed to helping our local business owners and residents recover from the terrorism event on May 17th. Expedited permitting and inspection services will be made available for those affected. 

• Situations where a building permit is not required:
  - Replacement of window glazing
  - Repainting
  - Stucco/Exterior siding repairs
  - Replacement of store/office shelving or furniture
  
  If you are unsure if your repairs require a building permit, please ask one of our Inspectors onsite or reach out to our office at (760) 322-8398.
  
  
• How do I apply for a Building permit?
  Create an account at Palm Springs Online, select "Apply" on the home page, and search for permit application.
  
  
• Will other agency approvals be required?
  Yes, additional department approvals may be required prior to issuance.
