The Point-In-Time Homeless Street Count is an effort to learn more about the individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Riverside County and throughout the entire country. In order to accomplish local and federal goals toward ending homelessness, we first need to know who is experiencing homelessness, where they are, and better understand the factors surrounding their housing crisis.
Volunteers are needed Wednesday, January 29, 2020 to survey individuals experiencing homelessness in Palm Springs, so they can be provided with programs and services that will best fit their needs. No prior experience with the Homeless Count is needed!
Mandatory volunteer training sessions will be offered by The County prior to the Count. Please use the following County link to register for their online training session (previous volunteers only) or one of the onsite training sessions (in-person) below. https://rivcoexchange.com/pit/start
