The Department of Finance and Treasury is responsible for administering the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) adopted by the Council for Vacation Rentals within the City of Palm Springs.

A TOT return must be provided every month whether your property was rented or not. The good news is, you can now submit your TOT returns and payments online. All due dates and delinquent date apply and will be enforced.

For further assistance, please contact the TOT desk by phone at (760) 323-8226, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday or by email at: TOTDesk@palmspringsca.gov.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE**

Beginning July 1, 2024, the City of Palm Springs will have transitioned online payment to GovOS. See the "Filing your TOT Return?" section below for information on TOT filing. If you do not have a GovOS account, please see the "Don't have a GovOS Account?" section on this webpage.
