About Us
Palm Springs Public Library
The City of Palm Springs has a long history of valuing library services. In 1919, before the incorporation of the city, the residents established a public library in a small adobe building. As the village grew, the citizens followed the library through more than 12 different locations to its current main branch at 300 South Sunrise Way. With over 100,000 individual items, the Palm Springs Public Library has a vast and diverse collection.
The Palm Springs Library offers free WIFI and computers for use in the Library. The library also offers large collections of books, DVDs, Blu-rays, eBooks and CDs and assorted free adult, teen and children's programming.
Mission Statement:
The Palm Springs Public Library provides our community with opportunities to discover, enjoy, enrich and connect with ideas and people throughout all stages of life.
