CA State Parks Pass
Explore California State Parks with a CA State Parks Pass or Parks Pass Backpack! In partnership with the First Partner's Office and the California State Library, State Parks is providing free vehicle day-use entry to over 200 participating state park units operated by State Parks for check out.
In addition to the CA State Parks Pass, the Palm Springs Library also offers a Parks Pass Discovery Backpack. A Parks Pass Discovery Backpack includes:
-1 Orange Backpack
-1 set of Binoculars with case
-1 Compass
-1 copy each of The Kids' Guide to Birds of California, Anza-Borrego Desert Region and How to Use a Compass for Kids and Adults
-3 California Nature Field Guides to Wildlife, Birds and Plants
-2 Leave No Trace Cards in English and Spanish
-1 California State Parks Map (yours to keep)
-1 Emergency Whistle (yours to keep)
-1 Vehicle Hangtag Parks Pass
Don't want a Backpack? That's okay. Just check out a CA State Parks Pass. Both check out for 2 weeks at a time and can be renewed twice. The Vehicle Hangtag Parks Pass is valid for entry of 1 passenger vehicle with a capacity of 9 people or less or 1 highway licensed motorcycle. National and Federal Parks are not included in the CA State Parks Pass.
