Attention Patrons

The Palm Springs Dog Park behind City Hall will be closed beginning Friday, October 25 for annual overseeding and maintenance-and will re-open again on Wednesday, December 19, 2019.

In the meantime, temporary large and small dog parks will be available at Demuth Park on the corner of Vella Road and Mesquite Avenue, across from the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. The parks will be open seven day s a week from daybreak until dark.

“The City of Palm Springs and our Parks and Recreation Commission is pleased to once again provide secure dog parks at Demuth while needed maintenance and overseeding is performed at our widely used park behind City Hall,” said Cynthia Crawford-Alvarado, Director of Parks and Recreation. “We encourage everyone in need of a safe place to exercise their four-legged friends to take advantage of the locations at Demuth Park and we thank everyone for their patience.”
