The premise of community policing is based on the foundation of community participation. Thus, a critical component of a safe and crime free neighborhood is you! You get to meet your neighbors, share common concerns, identify common problems, and help create solutions through Neighborhood Watch.

You and your neighbors can create a safer street, block, neighborhood, and community by participating and working together. A proactive Neighborhood Watch Program, working together as partners with the Police Department and allied city agencies such as Code Enforcement, Building and Safety, Economic Development, and the Fire Department, will build a stronger, safer and enduring community for all.

Working as a team with the Police Department, and the Community Policing Office we can show you and your neighbors proven methods and strategies to reduce crime and related neighborhood and community concerns.
