Effective February 2024, new applications for Vacation Rental Registration Certificates will be accepted though a new service with GovOS. This new service will allow you to:

• Apply for a Vacation Rental Certificate online, as well as upload supporting documents and make payment once you are completed with the application.
• Update and maintain account information.
• Remit Transient Occupancy Tax monthly.
• Submit the required Contract Summaries before each short term occupancy. 

Please complete the following form - Vacation Rental Application Request Form - and staff will review and respond with your account code and activation code. This will allow access to the Vacation Rental Registration Certificate Application

Over the last few months, the Department of Special Program Compliance has invited select property owners to use the new online system to complete renewal applications, remit Transient Occupancy Tax, and to submit Contract Summaries. The select owners were identified based on certificates expiring in the months of February through June. 

Our goal is to continue to send out notifications inviting owners to begin using the new system.

If you have not received a notification yet, but wish to use the system, please see below. 

Owners can request to start using the GovOS online system for Renewals, remitting Transient Occupancy Tax, and submitted Contract Summaries. To receive your account information, please complete the following form. Staff will respond with an email that will have:

• Registration instructions
• Account Number
• Activation Code

Create a user account by visiting www.palmspringsmunirevs.com. You will want to do this after you have received an email from the Vacation Rental department with your specific account number and activation code.
