The Mission of the Palm Springs Human Rights Commission is to promote and protect the diversity of our community and to improve human relations through education and community awareness. |
Commission Meetings
The City of Palm Springs established the Human Rights Commission in 1992. This nine member Commission is appointed by the City Council and currently meets at 5:00 P.M. the second Monday of each month at City Hall, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA.
Meetings are always open to the public and the Commission invites anyone with a human rights issue or question to speak during public comments at the beginning of each meeting. Public comments are limited to 3 minutes maximum.

Meeting & Agenda Translations & Interpreters:
Meeting agendas and minutes will be translated into Spanish upon request. If you require the assistance of a Spanish or American Sign Language interpreter to participate in the meeting, please contact the City Clerk's Office at least 48 hours prior to the meetings.
